Bluefin tuna cut into neat rectangular blocks, each one a soft rose-pink threaded with fine white marbling. The cuts are clean and square with the fascia trimmed away, so almost nothing is lost to trim.
This is sashimi-grade fish, frozen hard on the vessel right after the catch to hold its ocean-fresh quality. The fat is well distributed through the flesh, which gives the soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture and rich, faintly sweet flavour that bluefin is valued for. Slice it for sashimi and sushi, or sear it quickly on a hot pan and keep the centre pink.

Net weight 500g. Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Repeated thawing will spoil the texture — thaw once, in the fridge.
